Our Governance
A-CTEC's governance model includes a Steering Committee, Stakeholder Committee and Education Advisory Committee. Together, these committees provide strategic direction, stakeholder engagement, and expert educational advice to support the delivery of high-quality, sustainable clinical trials education. A review of A-CTEC's governance arrangements is planned for 2026 to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the organisation and its stakeholders.
Steering Committee:
The Steering Committee provides strategic oversight and governance to ensure A-CTEC delivers high-quality, sustainable clinical trials education aligned with organisational priorities. The Committee guides educational standards, monitors performance and compliance, supports financial sustainability, and identifies opportunities to expand A-CTEC's impact across Victoria and nationally.
Stake Holder Committee:
The Stakeholder Committee comprises jurisdictional clinical trials leads who provide input on the platform, share feedback, help shape priorities, and identify emerging needs and opportunities. Through its two-way relationship with the Steering Committee, the Stakeholder Committee ensures that strategic decisions are informed by the needs and perspectives of the clinical trials sector.
Education Advisory Committee:
The Education Advisory Committee supports the development of high-quality, industry-relevant clinical trials education. The Committee provides expert advice on content, learning design, and emerging educational opportunities.
