Auditing is essential for clinical trial quality assurance, patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Parkville Cancer Clinical Trials Unit (PCCTU) has embedded Internal Auditing into their quality management system, promoting a positive audit culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.

PCCTU internal audit program (IAP) is risk based and target areas of known risk, key requirements of ICH GCP and is particularly directed at academic studies which are not routinely monitored. The program can be adapted by any sized unit for their needs.
